People tell us all the time, “I cant meditate” or “I cant stop my mind”. We know it feels weird. We begin meditation because everyone says its good and they look peaceful and serene. There a strong recongition within each of you to that is seeking that peace and balance.
However its a bit like if you are used to driving in 5th or 6th gear on the motorway the suddenly you are driving 1st gear in a tiny, windy, overgrown little road where you can’t see round the bend, that feels like it is going on forever and you think you have taken a wrong turn, will you ever get out of it, where are the landmarks, ther is no where to turn, nowhere to park, you realise you have to need to continue slowly until you emerge somewhere.
